Scenic Painting: My latest course

In January 2020 I embarked on a 5-week scenic course along with 5 other lovely ladies. This course is run by the wonderful James Rowse with the help of his fabulous assistant Amy.

On this course we had an intense learning of a collection of materials, including metal, wood & stone. We also learnt different methods of distressing, painted two cloths and much, much more. It was a physically and mentally challenging 5 weeks, but was one of the best learning experiences I've ever had.

The course lends itself to anyone wanting to go out on their own, or equally anyone who wants to learn something new. Since doing this course, I have been creating backdrops and scenically finishing sets for QVC, plus doing more private work for various companies.
